Basketball Game Preview: Logansport Berries vs. Harrison Raiders

The Logansport Berries will venture away from home to take on the Harrison Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Logansport is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season.

Logansport got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They snuck past Twin Lakes with a 55-49 victory last Friday. The Berries didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.

Logansport's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Logan Lange, who posted nine points in addition to five assists and five steals, and Chris Anthony Delvalle, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 16 points and eight rebounds. That's the most steals Lange has posted since back in December of 2024. RJ Clem was another key player, putting up four points.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Harrison's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They lost 59-37 to Mt. Vernon. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Raiders have suffered since December 21, 2024.

Logansport's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Harrison, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.

Logansport was able to grind out a solid win over Harrison in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 75-63. The rematch might be a little tougher for Logansport since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
