Recap: Providence School Stallions vs. Orange Park Raiders

The Providence School Stallions put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down Orange Park 59-45. Given Providence School's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Orange Park is ranked 34th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Providence School's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Janie Boyd, who scored 17 points along with 5 steals. Boyd hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Loux, who scored 15 points along with 6 assists.

Providence School pushed their record up to 8-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Orange Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-0.

Providence School will play host again and welcome Lincoln, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Orange Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
