East Bernard and Tidehaven are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2017, but not for long. The Brahmas will square off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

East Bernard is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Lexington as they made off with a 45-21 win. The victory was nothing new for the Brahmas as they're now sitting on three straight.

Dominic Munoz was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 52 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also picked up 46 receiving yards and one score.

East Bernard didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Lexington to a completion percentage of just 32.5%. The Brahmas weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 40%.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Tidehaven took on Blanco on Friday. The Tigers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Panthers 31-3. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Panthers are ranked 209th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

East Bernard's record is now 9-4. As for Tidehaven, their record now sits at 13-0.

East Bernard took a serious blow against Tidehaven in their previous matchup back in November, falling 59-6. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Brahmas were down 52-6.
