Basketball Recap: Pearl-Cohn Comes Up Short

Pearl-Cohn suffered their closest loss since December 21, 2023 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the LEAD Academy Panthers by a score of 53-50. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-42 two weeks ago.

Pearl-Cohn has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for LEAD Academy, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-11.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Stem Preparatory Academy the next time they take the court. LEAD Academy will head out to face Stem Preparatory Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Pearl-Cohn will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th.
