It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but East Wake Academy had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They never let the East Carteret Mariners get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. East Wake Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by four goals or more this season.

They hit East Carteret with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Trey Philpot (3), Ian Murillo (2), Isaac Toney, and James Covington.

East Wake Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four matches. As for East Carteret, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
