Football Recap: The Villages Charter Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact The Villages Charter can now relate to. They were beaten by the Wildwood Wildcats 48-0 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, the Buffalo's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

As for Wildwood, they will welcome Tarpon Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Spongers' defense has only allowed 8.3 points per game this season, so the Wildcats' offense will have their work cut out for them.
