Baseball Recap: Buhl Victorious

Buhl won the last time they faced Gooding and things went their way on Monday too. The Indians came out on top against the Senators by a score of 7-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Buhl got a big performance out of Kannon Gambrel, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave Gambrel a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chase Craner, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Buhl's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Gooding, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Buhl will be playing in front of their home fans against Filer at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.14 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Gooding, they will challenge Kimberly at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Senators' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
