Soccer Game Preview: Bishop Guilfoyle vs. Clearfield

The Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders will head out to face off against the Clearfield Bison at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop Guilfoyle is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Bishop Guilfoyle fought the good fight in their overtime match against Central on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 4-3. Andrew Burke probably wasn't too happy after the matchup: he scored every single goal for Bishop Guilfoyle and still walked away on the losing team.

Meanwhile, Clearfield kept a clean sheet against Philipsburg-Osceola on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Mountaineers with a sharp 3-0 win.

Bishop Guilfoyle's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Clearfield, their victory bumped their record up to 2-9.
