Football Game Preview: Greene County vs. Mount de Sales Academy

Greene County have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Mount de Sales Academy on the road at 7:30 PM on Friday. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.

Greene County had a rough outing against Morgan County three weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Greene County enjoyed a cozy 31-14 win over Putnam County. Senior C'darius Kelley, who rushed for 121 yards and 4 touchdowns, was a major factor in Greene County's success.

Meanwhile, Mount de Sales Academy didn't have too many spare points in their contest with Pinecrest Academy two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 21-16 victory.

Their wins bumped Greene County to 1-1 and Mount de Sales Academy to 3-0. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Greene County and Mount de Sales Academy clash.
