Baseball Recap: Guyer's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Saturday just wasn't the day for Guyer's offense. They fell just short of the Weatherford Kangaroos by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wildcats have suffered since March 6th.

Guyer's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-11. As for Weatherford, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-12-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Guyer will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Braswell at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Weatherford, they will take on Lake Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
