Sweetwater came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the Clyde Bulldogs with a 43-39 victory. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 49-45 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Sweetwater's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-10. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points per game. As for Clyde, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.
