Holmen put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the La Crosse Central Riverhawks with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Holmen's got stronger as the match went on, holding La Crosse Central to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-11, 25-10.

Hadley Teff paced Holmen's offense, picking up seven kills. Teff were helped by Makenna McHugh and Sadie Mayer, who contributed 14 assists each. Mayer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Holmen's victory bumped their record up to 22-0. As for La Crosse Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season.

Holmen will take on Randolph in a tournament on Saturday. As for La Crosse Central, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against La Crosse Logan at 7:00 p.m.
