Basketball Recap: Southridge Takes a Loss

Southridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 90-45 loss at the hands of the Richland Bombers. The Suns were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-19.

Southridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Richland, their victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Southridge and Ferris will round out the year against one another at at 2:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Richland, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Davis at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Davis will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Richland surely won't give up without a fight.
