Southington and Cheshire are an even 4-4 against one another since June of 2015, but likely not for long. The Blue Knights will challenge the Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Cheshire will be up against a hot Southington squad: the team just extended their winning streak to seven. Everything went the Blue Knights' way against Platt on Wednesday as they made off with a 21-1 win. The matchup marked the Blue Knights' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Shelby Jordan made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

In other batting news, Southington got a massive performance out of Reagan Salvatore, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs.
