De Smet Jesuit had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Rockwood Summit Falcons. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

De Smet Jesuit pushed their record up to 15-16 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Rockwood Summit, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 22-8.
