Basketball Game Preview: Roosevelt Eagles vs. Muleshoe Mules

The Roosevelt Eagles will challenge the Muleshoe Mules at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Friday, Roosevelt lost to Shallowater on the road by a 84-68 margin. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Muleshoe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 69-20 loss at the hands of Idalou. The game marked the Mules' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Muleshoe, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Everything came up roses for Roosevelt against Muleshoe in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 70-38 win. Will Roosevelt repeat their success, or does Muleshoe have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
