Basketball Game Preview: Engadine Eagles vs. Pickford Panthers

Engadine is 2-8 against Pickford since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Engadine Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Pickford Panthers at 7:00 p.m.

Engadine is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Tuesday. They fell 48-35 to Cedarville. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 608th, while the Trojans are ranked 297th).

Meanwhile, Pickford came into Wednesday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 40-32 victory over Manistique on Wednesday.

The win got Pickford back to even at 5-5. As for Engadine, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Engadine ended up a good deal behind Pickford when the teams last played back in December of 2024, losing 48-30. Can Engadine avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
