Basketball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Sachse

Sachse extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Matthew Hudgins. The Sachse Mustangs simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the North Garland Raiders 75-46 thanks in part to Hudgins, who shot 4-for-6 from downtown and almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Sachse has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-14 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for North Garland, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.

Coincidentally, Sachse and North Garland will both be playing South Garland the next time they take the court. North Garland will host South Garland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Sachse will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th.
