Volleyball Recap: Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

After a string of four wins, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Salt Fork Storm by a score of 2-1. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Storm apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Reis McFarland paced Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's offense, picking up 15 kills. McFarland got some help from Mallory Brines and her 19 assists. Aaliyah Williams controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Salt Fork, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin and Salt Fork will both be playing Armstrong the next time they take the court. The Blue Devils will head out to face the Trojans at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Storm will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
