Volleyball Recap: Florence Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Florence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Three Lakes Bluejays. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bluejays this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss on September 6th.

While Florence was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-15.

Kelsi Chrisman paced Florence's offense, picking up ten kills. Chrisman got some help from Sami Demuri and her 13 assists. Demuri was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Three Lakes, they have been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.

Florence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Denmark on the 27th. As for Three Lakes, they will face off against Wabeno/Laona at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
