            Weldon is 0-4 against Oxford Prep since September of 2015 but things could change  on Tuesday. The Chargers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Griffins  at 7:00  p.m. Weldon is coming into the  match hot, having won their last four games.
Weldon took  a  three-set  defeat the last time they faced off against Warren County, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Chargers won by a  set and slipped past the Eagles  3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Chargers have posted  since September 19, 2024.
Meanwhile,  two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Oxford Prep walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Pride on Saturday as they made off with  a  3-0 win. The Griffins haven't had any issues with the Pride recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  victory against them.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Oxford Prep took every set by at least 18 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-4,  25-2.
 Oxford Prep's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Weldon, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
 Weldon suffered a grim  3-0 defeat to Oxford Prep  when the teams last played  back in September of 2016. Can the Chargers avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
