Kent Island got themselves on the board against Parkside on Wednesday, but Parkside never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 6-0 victory. The Buccaneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Kent Island's third in a row) raised their record to 8-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Parkside, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3-1.

Looking ahead, Kent Island will square off against Perryville on Friday. As for Parkside, they are taking a road trip to square off against Mardela at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
