Volleyball Recap: Houston Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Houston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Houston started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-12, 25-22, 25-19.

Averie Evanson paced Houston's offense, picking up nine kills. Evanson got some help from Olivia Yohe and her 19 assists.

LeRoy-Ostrander found their leader in freshman Tessa Lewison, who had 22 digs.

Houston's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for LeRoy-Ostrander, their win bumped their record up to 10-15.

As of now, neither Houston nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
