Softball Game Preview: Grundy County Yellowjackets vs. Cannon County Lions

Grundy County hasn't had much luck against Cannon County recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Yellowjackets will be playing at home against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Grundy County is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 22nd straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to Cascade.

Meanwhile, Cannon County might've scored the first runs on Tuesday, but it was Forrest who claimed the real prize. The Lions came up short against the Rockets, falling 11-4. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Rockets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Cannon County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mylee Schwartz, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Grundy County's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Cannon County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
