Soccer Recap: West Central Takes a Loss

West Central came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Vermillion Tanagers, falling 6-1. West Central have struggled against Vermillion recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

West Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Central will face off against Freeman Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be West Central's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Vermillion, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge James Valley Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. James Valley Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Vermillion surely won't give up without a fight.
