Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East). They blew past the Henderson Warriors 13-3 on Wednesday. The Vikings have beaten the Warriors the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Warriors has come to flipping the script.
East let Lauren Maguire and Caelyn Rodriguez run wild. Maguire scored two runs while going 3-for-3, while Rodriguez went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits Maguire has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Cross Daria, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
East was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
East now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Henderson, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-10.
