Baseball Recap: Keota Comes Up Short

Keota was the 4-3 winner over B-G-M when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears on Friday. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Bears since on Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Keota and nudges their season record down to 6-9. As for B-G-M, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Keota will square off against rival Iowa Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, B-G-M is set to face off against their familiar foe North Mahaska at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
