Recap: Knox Redskins vs. Rochester Zebras
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Knox Redskins, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a 48-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Zebras on Tuesday. Knox just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Rochester's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rylee Clevenger led the charge by scoring 17 points. Aubrey Wilson was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with three steals.
Knox has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for Rochester, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
Knox does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rochester is on the road again on Friday and plays the Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Tippecanoe Valley presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Zebras in Indiana (the Vikings are ranked 38th, while the Zebras are ranked 218th).
