Preview: Terry Bulldogs vs. Hattiesburg Tigers
The Terry Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Hattiesburg Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Terry is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
Last Tuesday, Terry beat West Jones 53-41.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Terry to victory, but perhaps none more so than Toniah Watts, who scored seven points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Marleya Myers, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Hattiesburg has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 57-38 bruising from West Jones on Friday.
Terry is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Hattiesburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8.
Terry didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Hattiesburg when the teams last played on January 9th, but they still walked away with a 41-37 victory. Will Terry repeat their success, or does Hattiesburg have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
