Softball Recap: Skyview Gets the Win

Skyview's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Capital Bruins by a score of 15-12. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 9-5 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Skyview got a massive performance out of Ruby Sheridan, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and two stolen bases. That home run marked the first that Sheridan has launched this season. Taylor Gallardo was another key player, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-5.

Skyview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win got Skyview back to even at 5-5. As for Capital, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coincidentally, Skyview and Capital will both be playing Belgrade the next time they take the field. The Bruins will host the Panthers at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Falcons will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
