Riverside piles up the points against Fabens

The Riverside Rangers posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They really took it to Fabens for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-18 victory on the road. With Riverside ahead 35-6 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Leading Riverside to victory were Isaiah Candelaria and Richard Arellano. Candelaria scored 13 points, while Arellano scored 15 points. Candelaria continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The win was the third in a row for Riverside, bringing their record for this year to 9-15. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Fabens, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside will challenge Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Fabens, they will head out on the road to take on Clint at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Clint is on a five-game streak of home losses, Fabens an 11-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
