Greenville has gone a perfect 10-0 against Greenwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Greenville Red Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Greenwood Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Greenville's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Greenville took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Easley a 1-0 shutout. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Greenville's one-goal win came courtesy of Emme Cook, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Greenwood's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mauldin on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled against the Mavericks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Greenwood's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Greenville, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1.

Everything went Greenville's way against Greenwood in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Greenville made off with a 3-0 win. Does Greenville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Greenwood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
