Basketball Recap: Shiloh Generals vs. Tri-Cities Bulldogs

Shiloh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 55-46 to the Tri-Cities Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Generals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-42 back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tri-Cities to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emari Benton, who went 9 of 18 en route to 21 points and six boards. Those 21 points gave Benton a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alyssia Bandele, who posted 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Shiloh's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Tri-Cities, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shiloh has already played their next matchup (against Dunwoody), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tri-Cities will welcome Woodward Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodward Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Tri-Cities likes a good challenge.
