Volleyball Game Preview: Marian Catholic vs. Blue Mountain Eagles

Marian Catholic will face off against the Blue Mountain Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Marian Catholic's tournament run continued when they took on Pottsville on Saturday. Marian Catholic fell 2-0 to Pottsville. Marian Catholic has struggled against Pottsville recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Blue Mountain played in-conference for the first time last Thursday and got just the result they were looking for. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Mahanoy Area. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Blue Mountain was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-17, 25-18.

The victory got Blue Mountain back to even at 4-4. As for Marian Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 17-7.

Marian Catholic might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Blue Mountain in their previous matchup back in October of 2020.
