Volleyball Recap: Gem State Adventist Academy Takes a Loss

Gem State Adventist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Rimrock Raiders, falling 3-0. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their loss to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Gem State Adventist Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Rimrock work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 27-25, 25-14.

Despite the loss, Gem State Adventist Academy still got an impressive performance from Audrey Uniat, who had 13 assists and four aces. Another player making a difference was Holli Kirschbaum, who had six kills and two aces.

Gem State Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Rimrock, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-10.
