Softball Recap: Dawson County Comes Up Short

Sidney hit Dawson County with a four-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Red Devils lost 12-2 to the Eagles. The Red Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 10-5.

Dawson County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hatty Eaton, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Dawson County's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Sidney, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.

Coincidentally, Dawson County and Sidney will both be playing Havre the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Blue Ponies at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Red Devils will host them at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
