Gloucester is 8-2 against Warwick since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Gloucester has eight straight victories, Warwick has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Warwick's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Gloucester hadn't allowed a single run the last seven times they've hit the field. The Dukes never let Denbigh get on the board and left with an 18-0 win last Thursday. The Dukes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by 13 runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Warwick lost 15-2 to Menchville last Thursday.

Warwick saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Burr, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. That run was Burr's first of the season.

Gloucester's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 18.5 runs thus far. As for Warwick, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything went Gloucester's way against Warwick when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Gloucester made off with a 22-0 win. Do the Dukes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
