St. Clair is 5-0 against Chippewa Valley since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The St. Clair Saints are taking a road trip to take on the Chippewa Valley Big Reds at 7:00 p.m. St. Clair will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, St. Clair earned a 56-46 win over Fitzgerald. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Spartans are ranked 339th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Chippewa Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Fraser on Thursday and fell 45-43.

St. Clair's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Chippewa Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-4 record this season.

St. Clair didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Chippewa Valley in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 42-38 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Clair since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
