After a string of three wins, Chisago Lakes Area's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cambridge-Isanti Bluejackets. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluejackets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Chisago Lakes Area's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Cambridge-Isanti, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chisago Lakes Area will square off against rival Zimmerman at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cambridge-Isanti is set to face off against their familiar foe Becker at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bluejackets 0.9, the Bulldogs 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
