Volleyball Recap: First Baptist Christian Takes a Loss

First Baptist Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Faith Christian Saints, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Saints this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Saturday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 25-18.

First Baptist Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Faith Christian, their victory was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First Baptist Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brazosport Christian at 7:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Faith Christian, they will square off against School of the Woods at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
