Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Liberty Center). They took down the Elmwood Royals 46-32 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Liberty Center's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-6. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game. As for Elmwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Liberty Center and Elmwood could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Liberty Center (ranked 544th) will meet Archbold (ranked 196th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Elmwood will square off against Arcadia at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday down 292 places (571 vs. 279).
