Newport Harbor faced San Clemente in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Sailors came out on top against the Tritons by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Newport Harbor's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for San Clemente, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Coming up, Newport Harbor will challenge St. Mary's at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Clemente, they will head out to take on El Toro at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
