In what's become a running theme this season, the HEARTS for Jesus Christ Guardians gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They claimed a resounding 60-28 victory over Bard Early College at home. Winning may never get old, but HEARTS for Jesus Christ sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Maria Cottenden continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 5-for-9 from long range and dropping a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Zelenka, who scored six points along with 17 rebounds and six assists.

HEARTS for Jesus Christ's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Bard Early College, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

HEARTS for Jesus Christ will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Central Christian at 6:30 p.m. on February 8th. Bard Early College won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Glenville at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
