Softball Recap: Grayson County Takes a Loss

Grayson County lost against Fort Chiswell back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Grayson County fell 9-4 to Fort Chiswell. The contest marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Grayson County's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3. As for Fort Chiswell, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coincidentally, Grayson County and Fort Chiswell will both be playing Chilhowie the next time they take the field. Fort Chiswell will host Chilhowie at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while Grayson County will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
