Zaden Wolf was his usual excellent self, rushing for 81 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, while also throwing for 147 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last eight games he's played dating back to last season.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Central Valley's defense and their three sacks. Gunnar Vanosdall was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up twohimself.
Elm Creek's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Central Valley, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
Thursday's matchup might be decided in the on the ground. Elm Creek has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 215.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Central Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 319.3. It's looking like Thursday's game might have some serious battles in the trenches.
