Cross had won seven straight games and Caden Ramsey did his part to make it eight on Friday. The Cross Trojans came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 61-57 W against the Branchville Yellow Jackets thanks to Ramsey, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 15 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 11 games he's played.

Cross' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points over those games. As for Branchville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Looking ahead, Cross will take on Hemingway at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Cross' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games. Branchville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
