            Volleyball Recap: Moon Valley Rockets vs. Goldwater Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            Moon Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight  defeat. They were a single  set away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Goldwater Bulldogs. If the Rockets were looking for revenge after losing  3-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
 Moon Valley actually scored more points across those five sets (101-97), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-18, 17-25, 25-20,  15-13.
 Enedina Virgil Macey paced Moon Valley's offense, picking up 12 kills. Virgil Macey got some help from  Jah'Laya Rowe and her eight assists. Virgil Macey was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with six aces.
Moon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Goldwater, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record  this season.
 Moon Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-0  defeat against Thunderbird on the 15th. As for Goldwater, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  3-1  loss against Greenway on the 15th.
