Volleyball Recap: South Gwinnett's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

South Gwinnett lost against Cherokee Bluff back in August of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Comets fell 2-0 to the Bears. The loss put an end to the Comets' undefeated start to the season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-9.

Having lost for the first time this season, South Gwinnett fell to 3-1. As for Cherokee Bluff, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-1.

Coincidentally, South Gwinnett and Cherokee Bluff will both be playing St. Pius X Catholic the next time they take the court. The Comets will head out to face the Golden Lions at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
