Basketball Recap: Wednesday's Victory Is Wadsworth's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

Wadsworth won the last time they faced Nordonia and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wadsworth Grizzlies blew past the Nordonia Knights 47-22. Given the Grizzlies' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Knights are ranked 381st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wadsworth is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Nordonia, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Wadsworth will face off against Stow-Munroe Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nordonia, they will challenge Hudson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
