North Oconee came tearing into Thursday's match with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions. For the Titans, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Golden Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

North Oconee had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 26-24, 15-13.

St. Pius X Catholic's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sofia Ziran, who had ten digs and four assists.

North Oconee's victory bumped their record up to 27-8. As for St. Pius X Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-16.
